A Play and St. Patrick's Day by Guest Bloggers Madison and Lucy

Here is our past week according to our guest bloggers Madison and Lucy.

Last Thursday we went to St. Paul's School.  We saw a play called Goldie Locks and the Three Pigs. It was a mixed up fairy tale. It was a funny show and the pigs were the funniest.  There were actually six pigs.  There were three girl pigs and three boy pigs. It was a sunny day and we had fun on the bus too.

On Tuesday when we came to school there were little foot prints on the easel and the floor and the door.  The chairs were upside-down. The toilet water was green and it had glitter in it!  We all screamed AAAAAHHH!! Our block towers that we built for the leprechaun were knocked down. We found coins everywhere! We knew the leprechaun had been to our room.  We saw a sign that said the leprechaun was here.

We played a shamrock game.  We had to look for shamrocks with sight
words on them.  We had to find 10 of them. It was a scavenger hunt.

We had to look all over the classroom. It was fun.  We all liked it.

Searching for our leprechaun.

Mrs. Duval did not know how to draw a leprechaun.  We watched
an art video that taught us how to do it.  It was fun.

This is what our leprechauns looked like.

Everyone's looked a little different.

We all got to bring home a gold coin! St. Patrick's Day was really fun.

Today in art we started learning how to wet felt.
Mrs. Emerson is teaching us.

We are getting ready to make felt flowers. We worked with fiber.  We
had to pull it apart and put it on a bead. Then we rolled it
together with dish soap and hot water.  It has to dry until next week. It
was fun to learn something new.
