In like a lion... by Guest Bloggers Joseph and Rose

Here is the week according to our two kindergartners celebrating birthdays this week, Joseph and Rose.

Happy Birthday to our two guest bloggers, Joseph and Rose!

We learned about one to one matching in our math class with Mrs. Jones. We are learning
how to compare sets of numbers.  We also acted out subtraction stories with Mrs. Jones.
Sometimes we pretended to be bunnies and sometimes we pretended to fly kites.
We had to figure out the math problem. Subtraction means taking away.

We snowshoed out to a stone wall.
It was a warm afternoon.  We are all
great on  our snowshoes.

It was too hot to wear to wear hats.

It was really fun to snowshoe.

We are learning how to get our snowshoes on and off.

We all help each other.

We tell the third grade class above us that they are really loud when
they take a brain break and dance.  We like to joke with them.
On Friday, they invited us to their classroom.

Third graders invited us to have a dance party to the song Happy.
It was fun. We followed along to the dance moves.

We went to the computer lab this week.  We decided if we liked lamb or lion
days. We typed our own sentences for the first time.
We have been learning about lamb and lion days in March.

We all like to use Kid Pix.

We learned a poem about lion and lamb days which means warm days and cold days.
We voted on what our favorite kind of day is.
