Alyer and Sadie get their chance to update the blog. Here is their take on the week...

We had so much fun writing.  We are learning about penguins!  Our class has new writing folders to keep our writing in.

These are all the facts that we learned about penguins. When we
read, we write the facts we find on the chart.

Today at the computer lab we learned something new.  We learned how to code.  We had to tell the computer what to do and how to do it.  We had to tell the computer how to move the bird to the pig.

We went to this website and started on the beginner lessons. http://studio.code.org/

We snapped blocks together to tell the computer how to move the bird. Sometimes we had to figure out what was wrong with the code. That's called debugging.

Today at indoor rescess we did not play with our toys. We did a giant, giant, giant obstacle course.  It was so much fun.

First, we had to hop through hoops.

Lia is a very good hopper.

Then climb through a tube. Joseph is great at climbing through.

Lucas R. is an amazing crawler.

Sadie sneaks though.

It was very fun on the trampoline.  We had to bounce ten times.

Madison is a very good jumper.

Summit and Ayler are really good balancers. 

We can't wait for Valentine's Day and our 100th Day of School next week.
